I can't imagine how bad you want your boat fix. I hate troubles that last just a couple weeks much less this long.

I sure hope they at least know what is wrong. Once it's down to the correct part, it can't take that long to fix it.

I must have a dark cloud following me around.  If it doesn't rain on me, it pours.  Now parts from Evinrude can't be ordered as their computer got hacked and is down.  I don't know if the dealer has even looked at my rig yet.  It's at a new dealer's and has to wait its turn in line.  The parts issue is another issue.  Hopefully, any parts they need are already in stock.  I'd like to be optimistic and think about Fall fishing but I'm afraid I may need to start looking forward to Spring!

No doubt you have had the worst luck on this. Got my fingers crossed that there are parts in stock. Let us know what eventually fixes it.

Latest status.  My rig is now at a different Evinrude dealer for the last four and a half weeks.  Factory is going to replace the whole hydraulic unit (on backorder).  Tech there thinks I should have a working boat early in October.  I'll let you know when and if my boat is back on the water and functioning again.
  :(
Latest estimate to receive part on backorder is now end of October.  Apparently, comes from Europe.

Back order at only three weeks isn't too bad. It's horrible because of how long you've been waiting but everything is back order right now.

Definitely let us know when it's fixed and you've had it on the water to prove it  ~c~
