I hope the Open guys have a good time on the Red. Heard there are 210+ boats in the field!

I am jealous though as I'd paid my deposit and was going to fish it but then got orders to Cali and had to sell the boat and cancel. I'll be living vicariously thru a good buddy and his dad though who ARE fishing the event.

Unfortunately it's fishing extremely tough right now. 10-11 pounds a day could win it.... Crazy cause the pre flood Classic that was held there took a 4 pound average to win....

I think it's on it's way back, vegetation is growing again. This will allow for awesome spawns and spawn survival rates. The river is so fertile that it will grow bigg'ns again.
