So MLF is reporting Jeff Sprague solicited information for the lake D'arbonne event earlier this year. His 5th place finish has been removed and the points and payments adjusted accordingly. After reading the article he sure didn't tell MLF of his own accord either...

WOW!!! It amazes me... I got scared to death because I had a reel customer start talking about Caddo before the H & W Championship out there this year. I shut him down but called the tournament director immediately after the conversation. Rule violations are not cool and should not be tolerated. Personally I don't know that he should continue fishing at that level. MLF must believe is wasn't a flagrant violation?

What's sad/disgusting is that MLF has known he did it since Feb and was going to let him get away with it... someone forced their hand and rightly so!!

I personally think Sprague is cheatin garbage and I fast forward thru any taped segment with him in it. I hope his sponsors sure take a hard look at this and the other "oopsies".
