Does anyone know of any boat bone yards or junk yard. I have contacted C & O Marine and found out the Stratos web site and parts has been shut down so parts are no longer available. She said my only hope is to try these forums to see if anyone knows where older boats go to rest. Maybe I can find the parts I am looking for there.

Sure sorry to hear you're having issues finding parts for your Stratos.  Was you able to get that windshield from the website I sent you?   I haven't seen any old boats bone yards around here in Texas.  Most of the old boats I see that are Non-Operational are single ones sitting out in the fields, under the trees etc.  Matter of fact all the Stratos Boats I've seen around me here are all operational.

Good luck finding the parts you need.  Keep us updated and if I see or hear anything I'll drop a line here for ya.  Like Princeton_Man mentioned what kind of parts are you looking for again?

The only thing else I can recommend is getting on some other fishing or boat trading website and check them out.  I know back when I was looking for my boat I got on Boat Trader website and they had all kinds, make and models for sale.  Some were operational and some non.  They were selling parts etc. from the boats.

For the most part most of the items you may be needing will be available from multiple open market resources.  Items specific to the boat itself may be a problem but there most likely isn't anything you will need that can't be found in the marketplace as an alternative.  A hint for you is to be specific about what you are looking for.  That Stratos part number won't do you much if any good.  Although I have a Ranger boat it is 31 years old and I have updated most items including Johnson motor parts by using market resources and not having to deal with Ranger.  I am sure your Stratos needs will be similar.

Trying to fing the port or left side council housing, and the parts for completion. I only have the right side on my boat now. Wife wants windshield on her side.

That's going to be tough. Finding and talking with old Stratos dealers will probably be your best bet. I can put you in touch with my guy. He's third generation Stratos and Evinrude. He might be able to tell you what model years, if any, might be interchangeable. I believe most of his network is between Florida and Virginia, but he may know some places to check. Something else you might try is locating boat salvage yards. You might have to buy a whole boat to get the parts you need. I found these below in just a couple minutes, there's hundreds more out there.

M&M Marine Salvage 19582 W US HWY 54 Mack's Creek, Macks Creek, MO 65786 (417) 630-2567
SalvageBoatAuction.com (They auction salvage that locatated all across the US)
UsedBoatEquipment.com has a Wanted section where you can post a want to buy ad.
I would think that anything you might find will require you to travel and transport back. In fact, you'd most likely want to, to be able to authenticate that it is what they claim and will work for you. Most salvage parts don't come with a return policy.
