Slipped out to Caddo for a bit, daylight to about noon. Just got to hot too quick. I managed two overs and two slot fish, but there was no pattern at all one here one there, one on a tree one in a pad field, one in some hydrilla. Just about the time I'd get two bites then I'd go 100 yards with nothing. Change up and get bit again...

Water started at 83 and quickly got to 90
Clarity is about a foot.
lake is falling pretty hard, it's down to 169 already.
Lots of pads, lots of grass, very little salvinia on the Texas side. I didn't get up in the Jeems.

It has been really HOT there. Surprised water temp wasn't 90s+ the whole time.
