Fished the UB Singles tournament on Cross today. Tough and Hot and the scheduler (me) made a major fubar and scheduled this tournament not he annually Cross Lake Flotilla. So the ramps are crazy come weigh in time. With Laurie's help, the grand kids standing in parking spaces we successfully got all the anglers out of the water and back in their parking spaces without incident. So a huge thank you to them. I was weighing fish and because of the extreme heat, no wind, and excessive amount of boats on the lake, the scales were slow. First place was 18 pounds, Second and third were 14 pounds, it fell off after that. I had three fish for 7.5 pounds, I lost two at the boat pretty quick on a frog and it cost me a check...

Water was upper 80's and low 90's,  vis about a 9 inches, some salvinia in the west end, which is where I caught my fish. Most talked about catching their bass on the main lake with reaction baits.

Fishing is more than just a hobby

Thanks for the report. Nothing like some ramp craziness to top off the day  lo

Man that lake with traffic is insane... glad the kids held parking spots as otherwise they'd have lost the spot quickly.
