Went fishing!!!!! Got my base license and my off base license and fished the pond on base! Had 1 big blowup on a frog and I just flat missed it.

Pond seems really shallow. Didn't have but 2 rods with me but I'll crank next time and find out.

Good deal Rudy.  Glad you are getting settled in.  If the base has a Rod & Gun club, they may know about local bass clubs.  Or check with local tackle stores.
