Triton/Ranger Boats

Met guy on lake last week.  He had new Triton. Asked him if he liked it and he gave a negative response.. Told him I had owned 2 Tritons in  passed 18 yrs and really liked them and no problems. He said he too had owned Triton before this one and liked them but wasn't happy with this one. He said they are no longer made with Fiberglass but a Composite (plastic). Has anyone heard this.

I have not heard about/of this? If we don't get someone in the know in this board (LA Fishing Reports) maybe we can post something in the boats board and put it in front of more folks.
