A little frogging action!

Ok so full disclosure, since I have moved to Illinois, I have struggled to catch bass. Now I don't mean that like I'm in some sort of a rut. I say that to tell you that bass fishing in this state is a straight up grind!

Now with that being said, I had me a pretty good day this week! I went to a small lake that I've been told is a pretty decent hole. As soon as I pulled up, I got excited. Matted grass, clean water, overhanging trees! This place just screamed "throw a frog"! Well as it turns out, that's exactly what I did. The results were exactly what I needed to get a little confidence back.
