1989 mercury classic 50 trim motor

The trim motor didn't move even though the Solenoid clicked and it was getting power. I took it off and found lots of corrosion in the brushes and armature. I cleaned everything up and bench tested, jumping it to a battery. It worked so I reinstalled it... however, it's very noisy (growling) and doesn't move when trying to service the reservoir. Soooo I think it's a combination of a corroded armature and possibly stripped inside the pump. I tried ordering a new similar motor on Amazon with no luck. I keep receiving a cylinder body style with only 2 wires instead of 3... The old one has the hexagon style that goes into the pump. Does anyone have any suggestions for me

An electric motor repair shop should be able to rebuild the motor. I once had a very old starter on a Mercury outboard that no one was able to get. Same deal as your, it was full of corrosion and rust. I had it rebuilt and it was just like a new one when I got it back.
