I bought my first boat in August, a '94 Gambler Intimidator.  It's in great condition, always garage kept.  Things I like about it:  Easy to load and unload.  It's my first boat  ;D   Plenty of front deck space.  Things I don't like:  Not a fan of the bench seat.  It's hard for my Dad to get up and down from the back deck.  Also don't like the dual livewell locations (next to the gunnel on each side).  Storage is typical for a 30 year old boat, and I expected that.  Hard to believe, but life got in the way and I haven't had the opportunity to get out and use the gas motor.  I've only had the chance to fish small electric only lakes.  I plan to get on the bigger water in March/April.  It's a pretty boat if you like blue.  I'll try to post some pictures when I get a chance.

Oh my, that was my dream boat for years. I had a real good friend by one and it was the fastest thing on the water at the time. Be careful learning to drive it, she'll get a little squirrelly on you but lots of fun. Yeah the bench seat was an issue. He just put a folded over towel on the seat and let folks step in it.

Wow, I'm jealous of the future days on the water you're about to have

Congratulations

I love the look. Compared to the boats of its time, it was the Ferrari. The boat is very light with a hull designed for speed and shallow water. It isn't a big wave, rough water boat. The bench seats came with lots of padding which you will need as the boat bounces a lot. It will bounce on water as flat as a pool table. The hull gets great gas economy with any 200 hp. You can mitigate much of the hull bounce by good weight distribution.
