Avid Boats

Does anybody have an Avid Bass Boat or know anything about them? They almost look like a Vexus Aluminum bass boat.

Supposedly the guy that used to design Vexus's boats went out on his own and formed Avid. I'm not sure of the veracity of that, but I've heard the story from different folks.
I looked at one in Texarkana that looked to be very well built/designed, but the dealership wanted too much for it, and it was (and I guess still is) a seller's market, so they wouldn't budge much on price.
