G3 1548 Alwed Jon Boat Rear Deck update 24 Feb 22

Greetings,
I'm still in the process of upgrading my G3 1548 Alwed Jon Boat.  I've added a back deck to it and below are the pictures of the work completed so far.

Modification done to accommodate the outboard engine


The modification was done to accommodate the outboard engine security locking device.  Another thing this modification will allow is the Rear Deck lid will now fully open with the outboard attached.  Prior to this I couldn't fully open the lid.  At a point in time down the road I'm going to replace the plywood with a metal cover.

Once the weather breaks and everything dries back out.  I'll  finish the trim and reattach the Yamaha 25hp outboard and take a picture.

Very cool Donald. My poor boat is stripped and has had nothing but snow in it for a couple of weeks. I need two days (righhhttt) to rebuild it and get it DONE. Did you know that it's almost March?

Sorry sir- I can and could have fished all winter, but I chose to get caught up on work, and to tear my boat down, and hopefully re-build it. Soon. It won't be as nice as Donald's, but it'll be functional.
