Timing is everything when going after smallmouth in Michigan.  Jim and I hit Lake Leelanau just a touch early last spring.  The great thing about Michigan is even if your timing is off your bound to run into some good fish.  That's exactly what Jim and I did in this foggy and rainy day.  Come along on our trip and enjoy some smallmouth fishing.
