They went to bed never expecting this, and a bunch are gone.  A hurricane you have plenty of prep time, tornados your lucky to be able to get to a safe room.  Terrible disaster, it's like many towns were bombed.   Prayers sent!

Prayers sent.  We have family that live in Bowling Green, KY also.  They had some damage but they've checked in and all are ok.

Two storms went thru north St. Louis County with little of anything in South County. I live south of the storms. My cousin HAD an orchard near Edwardsville, IL and lost everything. He was selling to a home builder and having the trees cleared will make the sale easier. We were fortunate.

Thoughts and Prayers to everyone effected.

My local news was saying that the would be the southern tip of this giant line spreading across the states. In fact we were but no tornados. My daughter couldn't believe that there were storms in December. Bossier City, the town 10 miles to the south of us. It's worst tornado every was in like 88 and hit at 2 AM killed 88 and was December. Just never know... What I can promise, if there is 80 degree weather, with strong south winds, from now through April, someone is going to see the worst weather of the year when the cold front moves through.
