A Month Of Milestones

This year the month of December marks several milestone anniversaries for me.

Today 12/08 - Would have been my dad's 100th birthday.
12/16 - 46 Year anniversary of when I started playing the guitar. (I know, a weird thing to remember).
12/27 - 30 Year anniversary of my first date with Eileen.
12/30 - 10 Year Anniversary of my signing up to be a member of the greatest fishing website on the planet - Ultimate Bass.

Except for occasionally picking up my guitar for a couple of minutes every so often those first 3 things are no longer an active part of my life. Time flies, and you're old(er) before you know it.

For all of you younger members I say cherish each and every moment you can and live life to it's fullest. There are no guarantees in life but you can fill it with great memories if you try.

Smallie your father and mine shared the same birthday, my dad would have been 76 this year.  Can't even imagine what he would have been like at that age!  I am one of the younger members you speak of and fully agree with cherishing every moment you can, especially with the people you love!
