Christmas Eve.  Long way from family this weekend, so off to the lake for an aqua-therapy session.
Cool day.  Felt cold.  Air temps were high 40's with a bit of a breeze.  Later in the day the sun peeked out for a bit and boy did that feel good!
Tailrace fishing for me.  Simple.  small swimbait on a 1/8 ounce jig head.  Just looking for anything willing to play.
Water temps were 53.5°F and clear/green color.  Current was running high 20,000 cfs.  Nothing huge, just numbers.  Best fish of the day topped out around 1.5 pounds.  lots of fun on a spinning rod and 6lb flouro.

Thanks Don.  I grew up fishing NE and KS.  Understand wind a bit.  but didn't deal with large lakes like you all have in TX.  know it gets rough there.

relatively speaking:  there's very little wind here.
