It's Official!  The 2021 SJHT season is in the books.  Still in the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to get in all 17 Regular season club tournaments. Thank you to all the committed members, friends, visitors to the site, and sponsors for making our 2021 season memorable and coming out across the various tournaments.

Stone Tavern greeted us with cool air temps and a pretty good early morning bite.

Once again....my hat goes off to all of the members that came out week in and week out to compete, bust some stones, win a couple of $$$, and just enjoy being out on the water amongst one another.   A Big congrats to 4 Time Angler of Year winner Mr. Brian *SubFish* McCulley.   Brian defended his 2019, 2020, and now 2021 AOY Title by sealing the deal at our recently fished Manasquan Res. tournament by catching a Whopping 6.47lber with 1 Bite all day long.

Even with a bad arm and shoulder,  Brian still managed to make All 17 scheduled tournaments which continues his streak for the  last 3yrs of not ever missing a club event.  Talk about dedication.  Congrats on 2021 Iron Man Award Brian.  See Stats in the Displayed Stat Sheet.

Congrats to SJHT 2021 Rookie Angler of the Year

Scott Schappell.

Congrats to SJHT's Top 6 Anglers:
Brian, Rob M., Jackson, Mike Del Monico, Bill L., and Dan F.

These guys are the epitome of putting in work on the water and excellence in character.....not too mention represent the Best of the Best Year after Year!

Alright....let's get to this weekends 2021 SJHT 2 Day Bass Classic.  Today, 13 out of the 18 Qualifiers descended upon the Stone Tavern Lake  where it's a winner Take all event and the coveted 2021 SJHT Custom Bass Classic Championship Belt.

There were a total of 28 Bass caught giving way to a total of 42.75lbs. 11 out of 13 anglers caught at least 1 Bass. We had 7 limits caught. Day 1 Lunker went 2.42lbs and was won by Rob Masterson and 2021 runner up to AOY. . The overall avg. weight went 1.52lbs.   Anchored by that Lunker Bass, Rob was in 3rd place heading into Day 2 with 3 Bass weighing 5.76lbs.

On to Day#2.....which word on the street did not produce big fish or number for the SJ Hawg Hunter club.  Ho Hum!!!!

The 2021 End of Season Snap shot:

2021 Comparative Analysis Top 3 Finishes:

2021 Season Weight Differential:

Summary:  What another crazy 2021 YEAR!  Guys pulling out weights out the Ying Yang.  You name it....we experienced it.  Over 355 bass weighed in totaling over 691.80lbs.  Decent 1.95lb per bass average.

To all of our members, guest, followers, and supporters, I personally Thank You!  Couldn't ask for a greater group of guys to spend and do our weekend warrior thing on the water.

Rob and Joe Reed:  A Big Thank you to those guys helping run the weigh in's smoothly.....especially in my absence.  Congrats to Dennis *Jiggen Den* Tolentino on his 33yr + retirement this past week.  Job well done and deserved my friend.

Oh and I cannot forget the ramp situation at Sunset Lake.  Just SAD!!!!  The township of Bridgeton, NJ definitely needs a remedial effort or correction in the work that was done over the winter.  If you care for your trailer and boat.....this ramp would be the LAST one on my list.  Wish I could say something positive....but it is what it is!!!!

Let's get ready for this years 2021 SJBCA Bass Bowl and regain our 2018 Title and celebrate with our RibFest!  LOL!   This year will be on the Salem Canal to be held Sunday, October 17, 2021.

Congrats once again to Mr. Brian *SubFish* McCulley on repeating as a 4 Time AOY.

Congrats to Mike Del Monico on sealing the deal at this years SJHT Bass Classic Championship.

and Can't forget our 2021 Rookie of the Year Scott Schappell

Good morning Father Time,
Yes...bigger fish and more limits...especially as the season winded down.  Our regular season is pretty much over although we're sending our Top 3 Teams of 2 Anglers to our local South Jersey Bass Bowl to be held this coming Sunday.  It's more of a bragging rights deal vs. Other local Bass clubs and our best against there best.

Stay tuned.  I missed out by 1 spot.  Lol.  But I'll hopefully be at the weigh in rooting them on.

We have a statewide event like that here in Louisiana every spring. Let your Anglers know they have fans in Louisiana they are fishing for as well ~c~ ~c~
