Well that didn't work

I've been eyeing these new battery packs for the GoPro. Basically they are charging $80 for a battery pack that has the GoPro mounts on it already. Well for $19 you can buy a large capacity battery pack and put your own mounts on it. Worked out great but....



It made it top heavy and a boat wake started a circular rotation until it finally couldn't keep up.. Gonna have to do some adjusting to my tripod... Thankfully it was only in 6 feet fo water.

That's exactly how I thought it looked.

One good thing, the GoPro will not overheat under water.

Sorry that happened, but it was awesome!  Loved the rock a dock and splish splash into the water!  That's exactly what it looks like when I get wobbly and go overboard!

When it happened I was P O'd but when I got home and watched the video I couldn't help but laugh....

All seems to be good. Let it dry for two days over an A/C vent and it's fine so far.
