Korea bass fishing report - Andong Lake - 12th & 13th June 2021

The spawn is mostly over here, but I did hear of guys seeing a few on beds still.
On Saturday which was a practice day for Sunday's tournament, I only got on the water at 11:00am ~ 3:00pm, so I missed the morning bite patterns, but I did manage to catch a couple of bass on a Neko rig on bluff walls with sparse flooded brush.

On Sunday (tournament day) I drew boat number 74 out of 75, so I was sure all my spots were going to have boats on them, so I started out near the ramp. I caught just one under on a topwater walking bait.

I fished a few other spots and had no bass in the boat until around midday. Then the bite turned on for me. I caught 6 keepers from midday to 2:00pm including the biggest of the day on the very last cast again. There were only 13 limits weighed in, so it was a tough day for most.
3 of my bass fell for a 5" wacky senko and 3 bass fell for the Neko rig all on bluff walls. 2 of the Neko bass were on a X-Zone Lures Watermelon Red Deception Worm.

Finished in 11th place and cashed a (small) check.

Air temps were low to mid 80's
Water temps were 78 ~ 81°f
Water levels are about 6 foot below full pool but staying stable.
Water in the coves and pockets is a little more stained than it's usual crystal clear due to the water run-off from recent rains, but the main lake is still pretty clear
Weather was mostly sunny with a little cloudy, and no wind at all
