Summary:  The North East River lately has been like shoothing dice.  Sometimes it's on and popping while others it's a mix of 13.5" and 14.5".

Landing a legal 15" by SJHT angler proved somewhat tough as many were lost by the side of the boat.
Judging by the Tale of the Tape, the bass were pretty active in spite of the strong and constant winds.  White caps were spotted after the No Wake zone and many anglers just stayed in the NE as Furnance Bay and the like was churned up pretty good.

In All, all 10 out of 13 SJHT Anglers caught at least 1 Bass.   There were 20 Bass caught overall. The NorthEast River Bass gave way to total of 56.11lbs caught overall. The avg. weight was 2.81lbs

3 Anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit.  Another great turnout in spite of the initial chilly and breezy temp start.

Congrats to Rob, Brian, Matt and Fu on your performance.

Next up is SASSAFRAS RIVER, DUFFY'S MARINA in 2 weeks.

Tightlines,
BN06

Some of the guys got some some great average weights... I'll take 3 pounds each in any tournament I fish...

As always thanks for the in depth report.

Yeah I'm with you Mike.  Ill take a 3lb avg. Any day.  Lol.  I watched guys hook some nice ones and lost them at the side of the boat.

On a different note and because i believe in God and a some angels...son is lucky to be alive after another driver made an illegal left turn and flipped his 2004 Ford convertible Mustang into its roof top last Sunday May 2.  Needless to say some sleepness night since but he's alive and well with just scratches and cuts in his arms from crawling out the driver side window while upside down in the mustang.
