More winter bass fishing in December at Andong Lake

The bass at Andong lake in Korea continue to feed in schools in deep water. I was catching them with Vertical Jigs and Alabama Rigs again, but as the air and water temps continue to drop, the bass are moving out deeper. There were all in water depths between 30 ~ 45 foot, some on the bottom, some suspended.

Just recently I have been throwing it on my 10XD deep cranking rod, which is a IRod Genesis MH crank launcher. It is 7' 11'' and really handles these heavy A-rigs quite well. IRod has an A-rig rod in their line-up called the Bama Special, but is currently out of stock in Korea and I am waiting for stock to come back in.
For the reel, I am using a Shimano Tranx 300 with 20 lb fluorocarbon. I used to use 50lb braid but I prefer the fluoro.

For the A-rigs themselves, I use various different models. For simple 5 wire rigs with no blades, I use one from my sponsor, but if I want one with extra flash, blades or dummy baits I have been using one from Picasso baits. I also use Picasso heads.

Baits on the A-rigs are all from my sponsor and called DynaShad. I use them in 95mm and 105mm in bait fish colors.
