Ranger seat replacement

Has anyone ever replaced their Ranger seats with one of the million aftermarket companies that are out there? Just curious if they are usually direct replacements or if they are universal and may take some messing with them to install. For specifics, 2004 520VX.

a number of folks have reported good success with Bass Boat Seats.com.  You are not going to find a form fit and function replacement seat for the helm and passenger part of the boat.  Deck seats/ butt seats on power pedestals can be direct replacement just pick the right seat pole.

Most folks I know have been able to replace seats using a little creative energy.  Not really a big deal depending upon the model of boat that you have and the type of seats you are replacing.  My old Ranger has a bench seat and I will be replacing with bucket seats and a center mounted console in the near future.  Might require some added framing for the seats but nothing too big of a deal.  As I said earlier it depends upon the year and model of your boat and what changes you are contemplating.

I have a bench seat with the little fold down back of the center. We will be replacing them, not sure if we will go to buckets with a center console or another bench type. Where are you going to get your seats and center console?
