It's that time of year for many of us, time to winterize the boat.
1, pull all the plugs, bilge, livewell.
2. drain the lower unit and check the fluid for water or bits of metal.
3. Stabil or whatever product you use in the fuel. Fill the tank.
4. Clean the batteries and be sure all cells are full if not gel cell. It's a good time to hook up your charger and leave it on.
5. do any cleaning and cover well.
6. Good time to check the bearings on the trailer for water and any other problems, brakes also along with the tires and take care of it.

Great advice.

We get to fish year round here but have a few nights that dip into the teens. Livewell piping and lower units are cracked down this way quit often. I've learned to always open my valves on the way home and lower the motor when I get home.
