How'd this small guy even get hooked?!

So working a 110 size whopper plopper and I see the blade stop spinning. I thought it fouled so reel it in to find this SMALL bass hanging onto the hook! Was bigger than him- crazy!

Lol! Had that happen to me on a Heddon Tiny Torpedo once. Thought the fish missed the bait so I reeled it in and found a little snot of a bass just a hair bigger than that tiny little bait hanging off  the rear treble.
