Decided to add tethers to my rods and really pretty much all my gear. Found the tethers pretty cheap online and easy enough clip to the reel or wrap around the rod and clip to itself.

Just bought the 12.0 pro from West Marine, they were sold out everywhere esle. Anyone know if it is notmal to buy a "2017" model new?
