Love all my Dobyns so far  ~gf

Ron Fogelson

I love the ones I have, broke one of them in TX last year around aug/sep time, came back home and went and saw Dave and Bayou gave him $60.00 and with no questions asked pick a new one up off the self and came home.  No other issues and I broke the rod jamming it to hard into a stump getting a jig unstuck so 100% my fault but with $60.00 they will out right replace it for you.  If you however think it wasn't your fault you can send the rod back to Dobyns and they will look it over, if it's their fault they will replace, if it's your fault they will give you the option to pay $60.00 and get a new one.

One other thing I found was while fishing in the cold my Dobyns line guides froze up much more than any other rods I had in the boat that day, I don't know why but something to know if you fish in the cold.

I use all Dobyns rods and over the last year have yet to have a problem with one ~c~

What will you be doing with the tubes? Open water, flipping brush, working grass lines? Also do you want spinning or casting?

I use the 702 spinning rods for exposed hook tubes for smallmouth all the time

Mike Cork

Yep the 702 will be great for that :-* The DX742 will be a great choice as well   ~c~
