Nolan Lake Ft. Hood, Texas 9 May 2020

Howdy from Belton, Texas  8)

Made a afternoon trip over to Nolan Lake on Ft. Hood today.  I fished from 1pm>5pm there were a lot of people out bank fishing today.  The bite was tough I had one bite and hooked and landed (1) keeper bass. 

Weather: 
Bright sunny skies 70dgrs most of the afternoon
Wind: East 7 - 16mph

Lake conditions:
Muddy
Water Temps: 71 - 76 dgrs depending on your location

Structure and Depth fish caught from
South Bluff main creek channel bank at West end of the lake
Fish caught in 4ft of water from submerged bushes and shore line grass


Bait used and the catch
Lockett Lures Red Shad Tube Craw 4in; Texas Rigged; Flipping & Pitching into shore line bushes

Good to see you posting these reports. Seems lately its been tough for me to get out. Soon things will slow up I hope. Good job on the sponsor comment at the bottom also. Hopefully the bite gets better your way soon.
