Tips for Sandpoint area

Hi everyone,
New to Eastern WA. Headed to Sandpoint this weekend. I don't have a boat but do have an inflatable kayak I'll fish from sometimes (I'd prefer to stick with bank). Any tips for bass fishing near Sandpoint (which lakes and what area of the lake, techniques) or any other good fishing in the area this time of year?

Not being from Washington I can't really help you out. Sorry about that. Hopefully someone will jump in and give you a hand soon.
