That 300 is nice but you really dont need it on a Blazer .A 20 footer with a 225 can do upper 70s . Thats enough for me . Theres nothing worse than prefishing and finding a good spot and somebody else beats you to it come tourney time. That happened to me and my partner three times last year.If I can run middle to upper 70s I can at least haveĀ  a chance of getting to the spot first. Anybody in our club running upper 70s? :roll2:

If you looking for speed two boats come to mind, Bullet and Gambler. Personally I love the Gamblers.

Rattle ,yeah but those boats just dont appeal to me like the Blazer does. I got my eye on a certain Blazer right now .Its not as sweet as the one in the picture but real close.

BIG PAPA

Those Blazers will run up there close to the Gamblers etc.
One thing to remember when going for speed, there is little unkown technology out there now so if one boat is a lot faster than another chances are it is because it is much lighter, not because of a superior hull design. I know I will get feed back on that but I am talking general, I do not know everything about every boat.
Chris I know JR Burt runs a Blazer, you may want to talk to him before you buy one. Blazer guys I am not knocking your boat, just want a good friend to check out his options before buying.

Chris

Papa , I agree . To be honest with you I have only talked to a few Blazer guys and they love them. I am going to test drive one next week.

GEBlazer

I can assure you no Gambler will run with my Blazer regardless of the HP on it. That's not knocking a Gambler cause i really do like them. It's still about hp/weight ratio. the blazer is a very nice ride and is moderately priced also. take a test ride in one and check them out.

Greg, I don't think much of anything can run with your boat regardless of horsepower... lo  Well, maybe an Allison or Lou's Bullet.... lo
