New to me

Matt, (LMG), had several reels for sale one of which was a BPS EXTREME, no pics, knowing how Matt takes care of his equipment I took a shot, the price was right and I've been wanting to update several older reels.
It replaces a QUANTUM AC500 which will become a backup.
I put it on an EXTREME 6'6" MH that is rigged with 15 lb Power Pro to a half ounce jig, put the TM on move along and grass flats in search mode, short pitches or casts, jig it twice and move along, sometimes swimming it through sparse grass. Sometimes it gets downsized to a 3/8. It also comes in handy quickly working a line of docks. The first 3 pics are the reel, the next 2 are the QUANTUM, the last is the new one tucked away after some practice pitches, works great, I see long happy future together.

I'm glad you are liking the reel. Please, catch some good fish on that sucker as it's really never seen any use in all its life.

I learned to use a baitcaster on one of those old green Extreme rods. Ahh the memories.

Nice looking setup Rodney and if you got it from Matt you know it's is good working condition.

I need to send my one and only BC and my spinning reel in to Mike to have them super tuned and cleaned . I would consider sending them to LMG but he don't do spinning reels only BC. While I'm at it I will see if Mike still has any of them used reels he was trying to sell a couple of months ago.

If you buy a reel from LMG its a good reel ,trust me my collection is growing

whole different experience and I learned from him you don't have to spend alot on a reel to get high quality reel just need to know what to look for in the reel and Matt knows!!
