Well I hadn't owned a full size bass boat since mid-90's (Bass Cat) due to spending 20 years chasing drilling rigs all over the country and no time to even get the bottom of a boat wet...  So around 2014 I had just got my company up and running and was getting back into bass fishing, then a family medical issue came up and had to sell everything to pay the med bills. Decided on just getting a small aluminum boat that I convert and fished tournaments out off for the last 5-6 years.. Actually like fishing from it against guys in high end boats. But the older I get the harder it is on me . By the end of 8 hrs. I felt like a got ran over by truck.

So I broke down and got A 2000 r83vs with A Mercury 175 EFI on a manual jack-plate. Hydraulic steering, MotorGuide Digital Pro trolling motor with Hummingbird Electronics.. Gel-coat still looks good with no chips or cracks anywhere. Besides 1-- 2" long deep scratch right beside the passenger seat on top cap. Going to upgrade the trolling motor to Minn_Kota Ultrex or Ulterra still deciding which one....

Welcome aboard!  ~c~
Awesome looking ride you've got there. Check out our sponsor, Marine One Coat, they've got a kit that will make that deep scratch disappear. I'm an Ultrex man myself, but that Ulterra with the auto stow and deploy might be easier on the old bones.

Old Fishermen never die, their rods just go limp.
