Scott Martin is officially leaving FLW

Yesterday, Scott Martin made the big announcement that everyone has been wondering for a while. He is leaving the FLW and fishing the BASS Open series in 2020. He says he's hopeful to qualify for the Elites, and eventually win a Bassmaster Classic in his fathers honor (something that Roland never accomplished).

I like Scott. This could end up working out great for B.A.S.S. in the long run.

You know, the opens are going to be really interesting this year! With Scott Martin and maybe a few other big names trying to qualify for the Elites, I can't wait to see how it all works out!

Good for Scott to work his way back to elite. This is interesting as a very few years ago all you had to do was send in your entry and show up. Of course, your entry check was cashed within minutes of delivery.
