The fish weren't very big, but they were the first ten that I happened to catch. I was expecting the rod to be for my plastic worm fishing and some jig fishing, but it's a more versatile rod and I think I like throwing spinner baits on it best, and the tip is also soft enough that I feel comfortable throwing some treble hook lures with it. So far I've caught fish with a wacky rig, texas rigged worm, 3/8 oz jig + trailer, spinnerbait, 4 ft. diving crankbait and maybe more that I'm forgetting.

I had a friend pick it up and couldn't believe how light it was and I personally like the green color on it. It seems to be true that it's not a true Medium Heavy, but I don't think it's quite a Medium either, so I would say somewhere in the middle, but it could be it just feels like a Medium and has the backbone power of a Medium Heavy. It's really well balanced and looks nice with a Shimano SLX reel on it. I'm sure I'll catch a ton of fish with it.

That's about all I can say about it right now as I haven't really fished with it long enough for a complete review. I also got a Shimano SLX rod at the same time and just uploaded a video on my first 10 bass caught on that also if your interested.

I love my Fury 733 C. They fish well above their price point.

Thanks for sharing the video with us and congrats on the catches!

If you take some pics of your catches on a Dobyns and send them in you just may make it into their newsletter. Gary is always looking for pics.
