St croix mojo cat vs Ugly Stik tiger

I have finally decided that I will get a baitcasting reel (Abu Garcia c3 catfish special) and would like a good rod to pair it with. I have narrowed it down to the tiger and the mojo cat and wanted to know if the st croix was worth the extra so if any catfishers out there could help that would be great.

I have never fished a St. Croix but an Ugly Stik has to be good. I fish for Bass with a 4' UL Ugly Stik and have had no problems. When I fished for cats more than Bass some of my buddies fished with the Tiger and loved them. So I would go with the Tiger.

I have a Tiger with an Abu Garcia C4 and it is a beast! I like it better than any other set up I have used.
