Trolling motor

I have a 2006 929CDX Nitro. Going to upgrade the trolling motor but I think the foot pedal on the ultrex and ghost are too big for my tray. Has anyone had this issue and is there a easy fix?

I have heard that from others as well.  I guess you would just have to install a bigger tray.  I currently have a motorguide trolling motor but if I replaced it would me Minn Kota.  When I had the recessed tray installed last year I bought one that would fit the Minn Kota pedal.

I guess that requires cutting the floor.

Easy thing to do is call a couple folks who do the tray installations. What trolling motor do you have now? I'll kick off a message to my boat guy and ask him. They sell/install the trays.

Jack says it's possible. If you have the tray that's rounded on one end you'll definitely have to replace it with a larger tray. If it's not rounded there is a chance that it will work.

I have a motor guide now. Looking to upgrade to the ultrex or ghost. Im positive the tray now is smaller for either of those!! Not sure i wanna tackle it myself. Depends on the cost. New to the whole boating thing, just purchased it earlier this year so my son could do the high school fishing thing. My daughter (12yr old) has really enjoyed fishing too!! But dang its expensive!!
