The question is... Will Barry who usually fishes only weekends get out on the 30th or 31st and gain a inch. Or will FD who has been a hammer show up with some more monster catches and leapfrog into the lead!
I went today and gave it a shot but came up short. I did land two 19" fish but not big enough to make a single cull!

I fished hard Saturday. I bought my son Ryno, who just turned 18 Wednesday a new rig. I got him a Lew's Xfinity baitcaster and a Temple Fork Outfitters 7'MH rod. We beat the brush from daylight til 2:30, and only managed 7 fish. Didn't get one in the boat til after 10 am. And really it was just 3 little flurries. 2 here, 2 there, and 3 at the end. Did let one about 3.5-4lbs go airborne and shake me loose. He went about 3' out of the water. It was pretty cool til the line went slack.... May have one day left I can fish. Band practice Monday, Ryno has a football game Tuesday, Church Wednesday, possible tournament Thursday, Leaving Friday taking kids to church camp for Labor Day retreat and won't be home til Sunday. So barring a miracle Thursday looks like my score is about set.

Idk, I might have to get lucky to beat ya Zippy. I just haven't had time yet this week to get out, hoping to get out a bit tomorrow and Friday, but unless I get really lucky it look like you might get the crown once again

We have another month and if nothing changes you can beat me with a 90.25" month.
The only number you will have to watch is 85" for me. anything over that next month will add to my yearly score.

It's been brutal over here. I haven't been able to get out much and when I do it's 98-101 with mid 80's humidity giving a "Feels like" of the middle of a volcano... When the feels like temp is running between 108-114 and the water is like glass because the only wind is generated when a bird fly's by, it's flat NO FUN and these fish don't bite...

Man I must have the same fish here. Last two trips was very slow catching. Sorry you didn't get any good tanks.

Just got in from work Im about to leave and go try again. I wanted to break 100 inches again. Its really doubtful Ill do it but cant measure them if I don't go try and catch them.

Man I failed miserably. I caught one fish about 15" on a Zoom toad and my friend caught 2 fish both under 18". It was miserable to say the least.

After a while we went exploring and found the fish. I was out of time and had to go when we did find them.
