Ok I hear about them and I read folk rave about them but I stil don't know what the true advantages are.  Can some one school me on this?

Ok,

Well Lee should explain them but I'll give it a try.

So the Torzite is the insert in the guides. Nothing different other than the Torzite itself.

The Torzite is a more solid material. Ceramics have little cracks in it. Torzite has less cracks and they are smaller. Giving a smoother surface. They are also able to make it less round to have less surface area touching the line.
All these make casts smoother and longer. Also makes line last longer.

Check this out.

Well, that's the video Lee showed me before he built my rods with them. They are smoother no doubt.
