Need help from the forum on how to run my network wire from bow to console. I have gotten wire to right side rod holder box but the wire won't feed thru to console even following existing wire cable there. How do I get the cables from bow to console  Thx

A fiberglass electrician's fish tape has always works best for me. I owned a Bass Tracker quite a few years back but I'm sure they've changed a lot since back then. It had plenty of cable paths along both sidesof the hull.

Once you get the tape from front to back, attach several pull strings. Use one to pull cable and leave the rest for future use. It will save you a lot of work down the road. Anytime you use one, pull an additional pull string to replace it.  :-*

You may have to pull the carpet back a little. Run from the console to storage compartment then from compartment to bow, just be patient.

i have fought with the path from console to storage box or from storage box to console. I'm using steel fish tape but can't get through box by the cable. The molded gray box seems part of problem. I'm considering just drilling through storage box  on opposite side of existing wire bundle. Also would be nice to remove the plastic rod holder bracket but its not a basic phillips screw and possibly has lock tight but not sure.

If you drill the hole use a rubber grommet so the wire doesn't chafe. Is the screw a torx head? I wouldn't remove it, work around it, you don't want to loosen anything if you can help it, time on the water will do that enough.

Thx so much for responding and especially the advice!  MIKE

If you're having that much trouble, before drilling holes I suggest calling a Tracker shop (or two) and see if one of their guys will offer some advice.
