FLO GROWN

Met up with Rick SFLBAssHunter put in around 7am place was pretty empty. Once we started fishing noticed the gar were in full effect just tons of them all over the place. I was hoping it was gonna be same pattern as last week after throwing a variety of lures Rick and I realized they wanted it slow and on top of them Rick took advantage of that with a senko and was catching them at a really good rate I was sticking with my jig and worm the jig produced a nice 19" bass picked up a few more on worm Rick was doing really good on senko and uvibe worm, towards the end of the day I started picking some up buzzing a mag vibe thru the pads and picked up a nice 19 1/2" bass, even got a armored catfish on red eye shad that was unusual, we finished the day with 37 Rick got probably 24 of those. It was great being on the water with Rick and catching fish enjoying each other's company. Day in prespective they wanted it slow and right on top of there head they were not in a chasing mood till later in day. Here's a few pics thanks for reading!!

That's great you two got out there and caught a bunch.  It was a beautiful morning without the strong winds.  Has the water levels gone up with the heavy rains of the past weeks.  Very unusual to catch a armored catfish.  Did you snag it.  Thanks for the report. ~c~

Water levels are up and water was pretty stained. I must have been running my red eye shad and maybe when I let it fall it snagged him.
