Smith Mountain April 25th - 28th

April 25th
Started near the launch with shad spawning there. Not a single nibble.
Moved to mouth of Craddock creek area and caught one small LM.
Tried some coves to the points in lower Roanoke and caught one small SM.

April 26th
Went straight to shoal next to state park. Caught one nice keeper then the fish moved on us.
Moved to main lake area and lost a 2 lber. No other bites

April 27th
Started at Shoal again and we caught 1 and lost 1. Fish moved out quickly again. Still can't find where they go. Moved farther up the Roanoke with no luck anywhere.

April 28th
Started at the shoal again and missed the only bite.
Moved to upper end on Roanoke. Hooked into a very good fish and the knot gave out with a last second surge. Fish came off of the bridge and got another bite there.
