Moss Lake Bass Fishing Reports

We went to moss this morning and put in around 6:00 fished til around 1:00. We caught 8 fish, with a 3.3lb being the biggest. Fished this morning with a black buzz bait and caught 5. The other 3 was caught on later in the day on a white spinner bait with willow leaf blades.

Fished the tournment thursday night. Caught 7 fish only had 2 to weigh in. We caught them all on a black spinner bait with willow leaf blades.

Gman, how late do your Thursday eveing tournaments go? is it well into dark or do you weigh in right at dark?

I tournment are from 6:00-9:30 usally is dark around 9:15.

July16, went around 5:00pm-9:00pm. Caught 3 fish. All around 13' long. They water was muddy as i have seen it in some time. Nothing that i use normally down there worked. So i brought out a yellow spinnner bait and caught alll 3.

Where you from GMAN? I grew up in beaver dam and fished moss lake till they started raising the sticker prices. I've not been since 1993 to amount to anything because of the military. It was a really good lake to fish back then.

Yep sticker prices are still high. The fishing down there has really been good. I fish the Thursday night tournements at Moss. They been having a real good crowd. They will only take 35 boats and they been having 35 and having to turn boats down.

I've fished some of the Moss Lake Weekly Series (MLWS) as I like to call it....but I haven't fished many, I've so busy travelin' with the club to big water.

But I do see Moss every day, five times a day testing boats.....

Gman, who makes your baits........I've got some good people around here if you need anything made....

I try to make most of my own jigs. Also i test for a few lure companies. But i am always willing to try something new lol
