It never hurts to ask.  ;) All they can say is no. I just asked in a PM. He was very nice and prompt about shipping.

I found Doc Irv has been very nice about working the same deal if you win one of his contests as well.  ~c~ I would say (guessing) most sponsors would as long as it was a reasonable amount that didn't add to the shipping cost.
