Lox 8/6/18

Went out lox this morning hot with bright blue bird skies,wind calm ,started off fishing the West canal right about the first cut to the flats. Started off with Stanley ribbit nothing,switched to gambler big ez nothing,than tried a senko nothing,than Texas rigged jig nothing,than Gambler ribbon tail worm nothing,than wind kicked up and noticed some fish busting topwater near the bank so I went back to the Stanley ribbit got two right away than that was it for a while picked up 3 more on senko all fish were probably pound each. Really had to work really hard for them today but it was great being on the water and boat ran good,on a side note that place is a mess with all them airboats spraying for weeds,pumping that water from new pump,you can't use the first two ramps it's jacked with vegetation I don't think I'll be going there next weekend.

Thank you for the report FLO Grown. Good to know that some of the ramps are out of commission. Sounds like its tough fishing all around. Good to hear your boat is working well.

They wanted it senko slow, but that wind kicks up at lox and it not easy to throw a senko

Thanks!!Stayed in the canal.It got pretty windy out there around 1030
