Originally a friend and I were going to fish Julington Creek Saturday due to the expected high winds out of the east. Well we drive all the way to Clark's to launch there and when we get there it is all blocked off. I never heard that it was suppossed to be blocked off and the sign said through the end of April. Probably more like mid to late May. They are scouring the ramp whatever that is.

So we drove all the back over to Lakeshore Dr. and launched there. We arrived around 7:30am. At this time the wind was calm and nice. So we fish Mill Cove as it is high tide also.

Using my tried and true pattern of Black and Blue or Junebug blue tail worms I caught 3 fish in Mill Cove. My friend caught 1 and lost a couple others. I caught mine near wood such as boat docks or standing trees. Another one was near a standing cattails patch next to a boat dock. Caught that fish on the shady side.

We then moved to Swimming Pen creek and only fished there for a little while and saw the game warden checking people. So we moved to Mud Creek and by that time it was howling windy with the wind blowing right into mud creek. I mainly wanted to show my friend the back end of it. I managed a nice looking small fish in the very back end of Mud Creek.

Ride back to Lakeshore boat ramp was fun yet bumpy do to the high waves. We left around 1pm with 5 total fish in the boat and a couple others missed. Biggest was roughly 2.5lbs or so. Only a guess. Here is the photo.
