If anyone from SE Wisconsin is looking for a Dobyns Rod and would like to try them out, contact Mike from Get Hooked Outdoors.  I just bought my 3rd rod from Mike.  Both times I met with him, he asked what type of rod I was looking for and brought extra rods to try out at the lake.  He was very informative and knew the best rod for each technique we discussed. 

In addition, he knew I was trying to find a reel for my son's new Champion XP.  He suggested a Cabelas Aracnid. The reel matched the new rod, it was left handed and was on sale.

You've gone out of your way to accommodate my schedule and had other rods to try at the lake. That to me is worth everything.  You can't do that at a box store.  This helps make the purchase a confident and enjoyable experience. I will be buying more for sure. 

Thinking a jerk bait rod or glass rod next.

Giving my son his Champion XP 734c today for his grad gift. Can't wait to see his expression.
