Was watching the show the other day and the two main owners of the company were featured guests.   FU had many cut aways from the show to detail what makes Legend unique and how they are built.   Nicely done and was impressed.  Makes sense since they are one of the sponsors of the show.

By far Legend has the most impressive battery storage compartment design in the industry.  Curious how that lid holds up over a period of time though.  Not a knock but rather curious how it holds up structurally without a center support bar on such a wide and long lid.

Also, learned they are coming out with a larger fishing platforms (wider and longer) for both bass and coastal fishing endeavors.

I have a 2006 LE21. Whatever engineering they did to the deck lid is impressive to say the least. There is a built in structural support that runs the length of the deck lid but they nailed it. I've had many co anglers back there fishing on it all day for years now and it sits flush with no bow in it whatsoever. The access to batteries, pumps, charger, fuel cell all easy and effortless. I have dual power pole pumps and still have room for another battery.

Same Here, 06 LE 21 and my wife fishes back there 75% of the time.......  She is always back there unless we are Pitching cover............  Since we spend most of our time in the Summer offshore She is usually back there.

That is outstanding.   Like I said very well laid out.

I noticed the new Legend as well... Seems like they left Phoenix pretty quickly, and have wondered why.  They did the same show last year with Phoenix owner as well.  Don't see much on Phoenix boats here either, really.

I like the show.  It's a heavily sponsor driven show for sure, and I know some people are turned off by that.  But they have decent guests, usually have a good boat/motor/prop tip segment each week, and also make time for young anglers.  Two pretty decent guys, I'd say.

Necro post for sure, but with Legend shutting down I wonder what boat the boys will be in next year... they kinda burned the Phoenix bridge (I think) so don't see them going back to them...they never really fit the Morris/WRMG mold, so that takes out several brands.  They were in Charger for a while before Phoenix iirc.  What's left... Skeeter, Basscat, ?

I guess they could just move to different WRMG Brand ie Ranger or Nitro, if they have time left on current contract.  Actually more I think about it that's probably the likely outcome.

Man, it comes down to views. How many people view what they are driving. Even Phoenix would jump on the advertising if it's worth it. I have seen companies hold a grudge if the deal was done dirty. But, if a contract ran out and there was a better offer, then there shouldn't be hard feelings...

Very little loyalty out there nowadays. Mother and I will always have our sponsors. Gary could dump us and I'd still fish his rods. We're just like that, we make personal connections with our supporters. Most companies are not like that.
