Middle Lake Fish Management Area

Middle Lake Fish Management Area is a 30 acre reclaimed lake on the Pasco/Hernando County line off of CR41.

My first time to the lake was a tough outting at first. The lake is extremely shallow and found no fish along the shoreline cover. Wound up catching 9 bass in the 1-3lb on a mid lake grassy island pitching Zoom frogs into the gator vines. Took several hours to figure these fish out but once I did that they were relatively easy to catch. Anyone interested in fishing this location may contact me for better directions. The lake has a very nice ramp, and a peir for family fishing from shore.
