While looking at the directions for the reel, it has extra washers to change how the line shapes on the spool. Even , forward or rear. I've never heard of this. Can anyone share the advantages of one shape over the others?

That's a nice looking reel and at $15 it would be even better. As far as the washers I have no idea about that something one of the reel guys might be able to help with.

Thanks that makes sense. The directions made it look like you would want to move where the line spooled not to correct it. This makes way more sense.
