Lake Kissimmee Bass Fishing Reports

I'm fishing the Gambler tourney this Sunday. We can only use Gambler baits so no traps, divers, etc. I plan on running to toho. Any suggestions for Kissimmee? Any concentrations of good fish on Kissimmee? Its gonna take a 25 pound plus bag I'm sure.

were making that long gruling run also unfortunataly. were launching out of grape hammock also so thats even worse. in pauls boat should only take 25 mins. hope it is worth it???

If you ain't got fish in Kissimmee then it will be worth it LOL. Call me after your tourney. If you ain't on fish I might cancel.

Ummm, winds were 25-30mph by the 3:30 weigh in at Grape Hammock. A bit rough on the Tracker today!

Caught 2 keepers on a 3" silver torpedo at first light in 27 Palms, then about 8:30 I switched to a white Zoom frog and caught my 3rd keeper. Caught another bass but it was short so it went back. Got tired of the wind blowing me around like a little wooden house during a tornado in Kansas so I moved to the north side of Rabbit Island where I caught my 4th keeper about 3lbs on a white Terminator spinnerbait.

Just one more fish and I could have won it

only needed 10.4 to win and I had 8lb even with 4 fish..... just needed ONE MORE!!!!!!!

what tourney did you fish out of grape hammock? thats were we weighed in at also. we had 15lbs to the winner. i had 11.02 and big fish 6.22 and settled with 5th place out of 32. $450 not so bad for a days work. i caught all my fish but the big one on toho.

Fished the Advanced Auto Parts tournament on Kissimmee yesterday. We didn't do as well as we thought, only caught 4 fish for 7.40 pounds. I lost one in the 4 range that would have put us up some and my buddy lost one flippin' that was a toad.
We were supposed to fish the Gambler baits tourney this mornin', wake up and its pourin down rain. My buddy flips on the weather channel and there was 1600 lightning strikes an hour and half of em were on Lake Kissimmee. This was 3 am, we were gonna leave at 3 to get a good spot at the ramp and sleep in the boat, so we slept till 4, same thing. Then we slept till 6 said we'll be late, but if its fine we'll go. Lightning was still popping at 6 so we said it aint worth it, slept till 11 then went and fished the Winter Haven chain.

Other than that it was still a great weekend. My Costas worked great and I learned a lot and had a great time.

Thanks for the report Taylor and glad you caught some fish and don't woor about the one you didn't fish in your young and have plenty more tournments to go better not to chance getting hit by lightning

You must've been fishing the Bay Area Bassmasters. I was in the Brandon Bass Bandits tourney.

I have seen a lot of great reports here

When you post a new report for Kissimmee would you please start a new topic? I think it will make it easier later on when we are looking for information during a specific time frame.

Example: We are going to go to Florida in February and want to find out what lakes produce the best during that time. We can come to the Florida reports and look at the reports that were started in February and find the information easily with the search feature of the forum. Otherwise we will have to sift through hundreds of posts in one thread and most people won't do that
